There is a mud finishing product to fit your needs. We have regular all purpose mud, taping mud, lightweight mud, fast setting mud, texture, etc.
Whatever your application we have your mud product.
Some trivia information:
The lightweight muds are made with some volcanic material that gives them the light weight.
Hot mud is made with elements that are in concrete which allows them to set within set periods of time.
Do not use hot mud in your Tape Tech taping tools! That could end up being very disastrous.
Taping mud has the most glue in it. It's primary use is to adhere tape to the surface. It should not be too heavy. Heavy use of taping mud will crack.
Regular Mud
This can range from a topping mud, all purpose, taping only. The differences in these muds is amount of glue in them. It is also how heavy you want to carry or how much shrinkage you allow.
Light-weight mud
These muds are light in the pan plus low in shrinkage and easy to sand once dry.
Hot mud
Comes in a variety of setting times. There is 5 minute, 20 minute, 40 or 45 minute, 90 minute and even 180 minute muds. These muds dry within the time limit for quick and easy patch jobs or small job where you need to be in and out in a day.
Texture
We have bags of powder mud easily mixed for usage with a spray rig or ready-made wet textures like Westpac's Ready Tex. If you are doing a hand texture, you can also use a topping mud or Ready Tex. It's up to your preference.
